ENERGY CONSUMPTION MONITORING SERVICE FOR BUILDINGS
The service we have developed for monitoring the energy consumption of buildings collects data from different sources to a single location. The system stores information on the heating and cooling energy used and the consumption of water and electricity.
The centralised data repository enables efficient and visual monitoring of the energy consumption of buildings. It can be used to improve decision-making in areas such as enhancing the energy efficiency of buildings. The system provides building-specific reports that meet the requirements of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive on the monitoring and reporting of energy consumption.
Energy consumption data is collected through various integrations. For example, site-specific electricity consumption data is obtained through a messaging interface. The readings of analogue and digital meters can be directly stored in the service with our mobile meter reading app, which runs on Android operating systems.
The service can be used to generate, with a few clicks, a report complying with energy efficiency agreements. This makes, for example, KETS reporting efficient, straightforward and user-friendly.
In the future, the system will also support data collection using IoT devices and, for example, pulse data can be brought directly from consumption meters to the system. IoT-based consumption meters can be integrated into the system to effectively utilise new technology in data collection and transmission.
